Block Paving
A popular choice for driveways, options include both vintage and contemporary aspects. Whilst concrete pavers can give a modern, smooth surface to your driveway, clay bricks will offer a timeless, textured feel that our skilled team can lay in a variety of patterns such as herringbone, basket-weave and stretcher bond (the standard brick layout).
If you’re concerned about the area looking quite stark, why not consider adding potted plants or a raised flower bed along the edge? As a landscaping company, Affordable Tree Care & Landscaping can provide both options.
Concrete
It may not be the prettiest, but a concrete surface is extremely durable and will certainly last for the maximum amount of time you’ll live in your property. With a correctly prepared base, we guarantee our concrete driveways will withstand an enormous amount of weight so you can park multiple vehicles on the surface at once.
Post installation, we will cover your new driveway with an appropriate sealant, ensuring its longevity at your New Forest, Southampton, Winchester or Hampshire property.
Gravel/Shingle
Ideal for longer driveways, gravel or shingle can last many years. As the stones come in a variety of colours, you can also choose an option that complements the exterior of your home. Both are perfect for filling in and concealing potholes, but while compacted when laid initially, bad weather can cause the surface to loosen and wash away.
Affordable Tree Care & Landscaping will replace any lost gravel or shingles as part of our landscaping company's services. We'll also take care of weeds that sprout between the stones.
Tarmacadam
A very long-lasting option for a new driveway, with hardly any maintenance required, tarmac is a popular choice. It’s a weather-resistant surface that won’t break away or stain over time. The main advantage of a Tarmacadam driveway is the fact it can be laid over an existing one and, depending on the size of the area to be resurfaced, can be installed in a day.
Prior to any hard landscaping, we complete the appropriate excavation, groundworks, sub-base lying and compacting services. Relevant jobs are surface sealed upon completion.
